Served 6:00 – 8:00 AM. Light breakfast complimentary; full breakfast may carry an extra charge.
High-speed WiFi is included with every stay. No caps or time limits.
Secure on-site parking is provided free of charge for all registered guests.
Laundry service available on request. Arrange directly with your host for timing and cost.
No smoking or drug use inside the property. Designated outdoor areas only — dispose of butts responsibly.
Pets are generally not allowed. If you wish to bring a pet, please check with the host beforehand.
Do not bring additional visitors without prior host permission. All guests must follow house rules.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its furnishings during their stay.
Always lock your room when leaving. Management is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
Do not enter other guests' rooms without permission. Keep shared spaces tidy after use.
The breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.
Observe quiet hours starting from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Respect the host's and other guests' right to peace and quiet during these hours. Avoid loud noise or music that may disturb others at any time.
Do not smoke or use drugs in the homestay or on the property. If smoking is permitted, only smoke in designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts appropriately.
Check with the host beforehand if you wish to bring a pet. Approval is required before arrival and is subject to availability and pet type.
Arrive at the homestay at the agreed-upon check-in time (12:00 PM), or inform the host ahead of time if you will be late. Leave the property on time at check-out (10:00 AM). A late check-out fee of 50% of the current room rate applies when the check-out time is not respected.
Curfew is enforced from 10:30 PM until 5:00 AM. Please remain within the premises during curfew hours to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests.
Do not bring additional guests or visitors onto the property without the host's permission. Ensure that any visitors you do bring follow all house rules.
Respect the privacy of the host and other guests. Do not enter other guests' rooms without permission, and ensure that shared spaces are left tidy after use.
Cancel at least 7 days before your arrival for a full refund.
Cancel 3–6 days before arrival to receive a 50% partial refund.
Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable.
Failure to arrive on your check-in date is treated as a no-show. No refund is issued.
Unused inclusions (meals, activities) are non-refundable.
Refunds processed within 7 working days to your original payment method.
Discounted or promotional bookings are non-refundable.
Refunds apply only to the basic room tariff. Convenience fees & taxes are excluded.
If you are unable to arrive due to unavoidable situations — natural disasters, security incidents, sudden government policy changes, or pandemics — the following special terms apply:
Rebook your stay within 6 months at no cancellation charge.
You must inform us at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date.
Rescheduling is subject to room availability at the time of rebooking.
Your first reschedule is free. Any additional reschedule carries a 20% fee of the basic tariff.
Rescheduling is valid only for Virunga Homestay, Musanze, Rwanda.
